　Aiko Ichinose (Kayoko Kishimoto), a member of the House of Representatives who was chewing on the streets of Kanazawa, collapsed with an expression of suffering. While the other man runs away in a hurry, Michiko Daimon (Ryoko Yonekura), a freelance genius surgeon who happened to be there, senses that she is in an unpredictable condition. Immediately board an ambulance with Aiko and head to Japan's first drug discovery base, "Cross Medical Center," which has been certified as the "Latest Medical Special Zone" by the government. The hospital's restraint, which prioritizes medical treatment by administering new drugs, will be shaken off, and the lives of patients will be saved with vivid operations.

　There was a person who watched her over the monitor. He is the hospital director of "Cross Medical Center", Kurosu Kuntaro (Beat Takeshi). Kurosu decides to hire Michiko in anticipation of her arm, and immediately negotiates with Dr. Kambara (Kishibe Kazunori), the director of the "Medicine Referral Office" to which Michiko belongs. However, Michiko stubbornly refuses dispatch. Kurosu was none other than the man who ran away leaving behind the suffering Aiko. However, in the end, Akira told me that Ms. Miko decided to work at the "Cross Medical Center". The first day of work is approaching while receiving the cold treatment of the medical corps that looks down on the surgeon.

　Meanwhile, what Kurosu thought was asked for an operation by Michiko! The patient is Kojiro Himuro, a national figure skater who has been transferred from the "National Advanced Medical Center Kanazawa Branch" to a secret hospital. The patient suffers from complicated CTEPH (chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension) and is considered impossible to operate. However, Ms. Miko asserts that she will perform 100% perfect surgery and persuades Himuro to be anxious. No matter what, to save lives, cultivate the spirit for the upcoming surgery.

Ryoko Yonekura as Michiko Daimon (40) Freelance surgeon. He does not belong to the medical office of a university hospital, but he travels to various hospitals while belonging to the dubious "Kamihara Meiyo Introductory Office". Absolutely adhere to working hours. He does not undertake any chores that do not require a doctor's license, and remains indifferent to the power struggles that tend to occur in the hospital. The rewards for surgery are orders of magnitude higher, but the skill as a surgeon is top notch. He himself has absolute confidence in his arm. I'm not afraid of anyone and say what I want to say, so I don't get along well with the people in the medical office. His hobbies and special skills are surgery, and he is weak in anything other than surgery. There are rumors that he has experienced not only hospital work but also ship doctors and military doctors, and he has connections in unexpected places.

Ittoku Kishibe as Akira Kanabara (69)
Director of "Kamihara Meiyo Introductory Office" to which Michiko Daimon belongs. An existence that unknown child longs for as a "master". A former surgeon, a man with many mysteries, such as being stripped of his doctor's license in the past. He is also familiar with the inside of the university hospital and is busy with sales. My hobby is mahjong. In the third series, he suffered a serious illness that was not indicated for surgery, but his life was saved by the operation of an unknown child.

Yuki Uchida as Hiromi Jounouchi (37) A cool woman with a solid arm as an anesthesiologist. A single mother who raises her only daughter.
